Aubry Cuvee Nicolas Francois Aubry Sable Rose Nature Brut 2009

Copper-tinged and bone-dry, with no dosage to soften its mineral edge. Cherry kernel and dried herbs lead, followed by citrus peel and chalky stones. The mousse is fine but persistent, carrying smoky undertones through a taut, focused finish. Disgorged March 2014.
