Travaglini Gattinara Tre Vigne 2008

Plum, dark cherry and stone fruit open with a warm generosity, framed by cinnamon and sweet spice. Soft and juicy on the palate, a touch more giving than Travaglini's standard Gattinara, with dried rose petals, mint and tobacco adding depth on the finish. Wildflowers and a subtle herbaceous note linger at the close. Approachable now and at its best over the next few years.
