Dried rose petals, wild mint, sweet tobacco and licorice root drift through the nose with an easy, open charm. Mid-weight on the palate with good balance, the fruit is soft, the acidity gentle, and the whole thing carries a pleasantly perfumed, almost delicate character. Not a wine built for the cellar; drink it over the next few years while that floral lift holds.
