Dried roses, ripe dark cherry, iron-tinged earth and a trace of cedar — this is Cerequio speaking clearly. Full-bodied yet graceful, with tannins that are firm but far from punishing and an acidity that keeps the whole thing poised and alive. The generosity of the fruit is the calling card here: La Morra's characteristic warmth comes through without sacrificing precision. Decant and drink now if you must, but another four to six years will reward patience considerably.
