Figeac 2008

Elegant red fruit shows Burgundian restraint before opening to reveal Bordeaux's classic cedar and mint. The wine flows with grace on a medium frame, supported by gentle tannins and bright acidity. Harmonious now, though it lacks the focus that would define Faye's later work. Still, there's genuine pleasure here and a glimpse of the estate's potential. Drink now-2025.
