Toasted almonds, honeyed apricot and warm brioche open things up, with a stony undercurrent keeping everything grounded. Age has done its work here, the fruit is generous but focused, with ripe pear and white peach filling out the mid-palate alongside a trace of beeswax and dried flowers. Fine bubbles carry real persistence through a long, complete finish. Drinking beautifully now, though there's no urgency.
