Powerfully built with brooding black fruit and classic Nebbiolo aromatics of tar, roses and forest floor. The palate shows impressive concentration and grip, layered with dark chocolate, tobacco and eucalyptus that speak to Conterno's traditional approach. Formidable tannins demand patience. This needs another 5-7 years minimum to begin showing its true character.
