Travaglini Gattinara 2005

Cherry blossom, dried rose, tobacco leaf and a trace of crushed herbs, classic Nebbiolo in a translucent, weightless frame. This is Gattinara at its most delicate: mid-weight, almost ethereal, with bright acidity and firm underlying structure keeping it honest. Fleeting on the surface, yet there's enough backbone here to carry it comfortably through another decade.
