Stella di Campalto Brunello di Montalcino 2005

Dried rose petal, wild cherry and a trace of iron earth open slowly, taking their time to come forward. This is a mid-weight Brunello with genuine grace, the fruit is bright and lifted, the tannins fine-grained but still firmly held. There's a quiet tension running through it, a wine that hasn't fully exhaled yet. The promise here is real. Drink 2025–2038.
