Oddero Barolo 2005

Thin and unconvincing. The fruit is dilute and lacks the depth you'd expect from a 2005 Barolo, a year that delivered far better elsewhere in the appellation. A green edge runs through the palate, throwing off whatever balance the wine might otherwise claim. Flat, forgettable, and hard to recommend.
