Renato Ratti Barolo Rocche 2004

Red cherry, dried roses, warm spice and a touch of sandalwood, this is Ratti's Rocche singing in full voice. The tannins are silky and fine-grained, wrapping the fruit with a gentleness that rarely shows up in Barolo at this concentration. Everything is in its right place: the acidity lifts, the fruit holds, and the finish extends with quiet authority. One of the most complete expressions from this producer in recent memory. Drinking beautifully now, but will reward patience through 2025–2030.
