Oddero Barolo 2004

A noticeably stronger showing from Oddero than recent vintages, the concentration is there without the jagged edges that have plagued earlier releases. Dark red cherry, dried violets and a touch of earth on the nose. Mid-weight on the palate, with decent length, though firm tannins grip the finish and remind you this needs more time. A solid, respectable Barolo at this level.
