The 2004 came from one of Champagne's most abundant vintages, and after years on lees it has settled into something genuinely composed. Baked apple, toasted brioche, white flowers and wet stone, precise and unhurried. Bright acidity runs through the core, keeping everything taut, while fine persistent bubbles draw the wine toward a long, chalky finish with real textural weight. Extended lees aging has added a layered complexity that lifts this beyond the house's already high baseline. Worth hunting down in magnum if you can find it.
