Rich and concentrated from the hot summer of 1999. Golden apple, honey and toasted brioche dominate this powerful expression of Salon's signature Chardonnay. The density overwhelms some of the house's typical finesse, creating a somewhat monolithic profile. Still drinking well now with enough depth to continue for several more years.
