History
Carolyn Coryelle planted the site in 1999 high on the coastal ridges north of Jenner, at the meeting of King Ridge Road and Tin Barn Road. It was the first vineyard source for Tin Barn Vineyards, which took its name from the road, and its fruit has stayed with that single cellar ever since.
The Site
The vines sit on the 40 acre parcel at 33750 Tin Barn Road inside Fort Ross-Seaview, around 1,000 feet up and squarely in the path of the coastal winds that strip the Pacific fog off the ridge. This page's boundary was corrected in 2026: the location key's parcel turned out to be bare timber preserve, and the county roll's lone vineyard parcel at the documented crossroads is the one drawn here.

The Wines
Tin Barn's Coryelle Fields Syrah is cool-climate coastal Syrah in the Northern Rhone register, dark-fruited and peppery, with a Joon rose of Syrah drawn from the same rows.
