History
DuMOL bought its first estate parcel off Occidental Road in 2004 after two decades built on purchased fruit, and the holding has grown to thirty acres across four contiguous parcels: the DuMOL Estate, Bressay, Kearney and MacIntyre vineyards. MacIntyre, a former apple orchard, was planted in 2016 with Swan and Calera selections propagated from the neighboring estate vines.
The Site
The parcel sits at 250 feet in a cool pocket of Green Valley near Occidental, low, breezy and deep in the fog track, on classic Goldridge sand capped with an extremely fine, low-clay topsoil that holds almost no water. The vines are farmed organically and grown without irrigation.

The Wines
DuMOL's MacIntyre Estate Pinot Noir, a members release since the 2020 vintage, shows the moondust signature: aromatic lift, red fruit and a fine, dry-grown tension distinct from its richer estate siblings.
