Liquid gold meets crushed limestone in Burgundy's most ethereal expression.

Electric minerality strikes first. Crushed limestone. White peach essence. This 2020 burns with crystalline purity rarely seen outside fairy tales. Oak whispers rather than shouts - vanilla cream threading through Meyer lemon and white flowers. Palate explodes with concentrated fruit yet maintains razor precision. Saline finish stretches endlessly, wet stones and honeyed citrus dancing on granite backdrop. Texture feels simultaneously silky and tensile, like liquid marble carved by angels. Each sip reveals new depths - hazelnut, brioche, crushed herbs. Already drinking beautifully but will evolve magnificently through 2040. Bâtard's unique position between Montrachet and Bienvenues creates this singular tension between power and elegance. Sauzet captures every nuance of this blessed dirt. Pure Burgundian magic bottled.
