Knights Valley Chardonnay hits sweet spot between power and finesse.

Lemon curd richness meets honeysuckle perfume. Brioche notes from careful barrel work. White peach flesh coats the mid-palate. Mineral spine keeps everything honest. Knights Valley's warmth shows in the generous fruit, but cool mornings preserve acidity. Finish lingers with citrus oil and wet stone. This 2011 drinks beautifully now but has years ahead. Peter Michael's restraint prevents over-extraction while delivering California sunshine.
