Dark-fruited Pinot with serious forest floor complexity and cocoa richness.

Dense blackberry and plum leap from glass. Cocoa powder adds richness without weight. Licorice root weaves through mid-palate. Forest floor brings earthy backboneโ€”mushroom, wet leaves, decay. Tannins grip but don't clamp. Finish lingers with spice box notes. This 2016 drinks beautifully now but has years ahead. Serious Pinot that respects varietal character while pushing boundaries.

๐Ÿท You want Pinot Noir that thinks it's from Burgundy but tastes unmistakably Californian.

Pairs with: Duck breast with cherry gastrique, Wild mushroom risotto, Herb-crusted lamb, Aged hard cheeses
