Ethereal Russian River Pinot that floats between garden and forest.
Rose petals and violets leap from the glass. Pure blueberry fruit anchored by cedar spice and cooling wintergreen. Silky texture belies serious structure underneath. Beautiful tension between delicate florals and earthy backbone. This 2010 hits prime drinking now but has years ahead. Classic Russian River elegance with uncommon depth. Finish lingers with violet pastilles and forest floor.
๐ท You want Burgundian elegance without the Burgundy price tag and pretension.
Pairs with: Duck breast with cherry gastrique, Wild mushroom risotto, Herb-crusted lamb, Aged Gruyรจre
