Sun-warmed stones meet crystalline precision in this mineral-driven masterwork.

Crisp apple and pear emerge immediately, followed by fresh brioche and orange zest. Nutmeg spice weaves through everything. Light sulfur reduction hints at stones baking in summer sun - pure terroir speaking. The palate delivers lemony precision with iodine salinity cutting through rich fruit. Crystalline minerality builds toward a finish of heated limestone and cooked stone. This 2020 shows remarkable concentration without heaviness. The balance between orchard fruit richness and mineral drive is flawless. Texture remains silky despite the wine's obvious power. Will develop beautifully over two decades, gaining complexity while retaining that signature Corton-Charlemagne tension. A wine that defines grand cru Burgundian Chardonnay.
