Corton-Charlemagne at its mineral-driven, aristocratic peak.

Pale yellow-green signals serious intent. Citrus rind mingles with menthol and white pepper - Burgundian complexity in spades. Palate cuts like steel wire. Grapefruit pith and lemon zest slice through crushed limestone backbone. Lavender whispers emerge. Finish stretches endlessly, bone-dry and precise. This 2016 needs patience - drink 2025 onwards. Pure grand cru expression from Corton hill's finest slopes. Textbook Bonneau du Martray restraint and power.
