Graphite-laced Cabernet with serious mineral spine cuts through Alexander Valley opulence.
Dense black cherry floods the glass. Mocha richness balanced by striking graphite minerality - unusual depth for Alexander Valley. Bay leaf adds savory complexity to dark chocolate core. Tannins firm but polished. Medium-plus body avoids heaviness. Clean mineral finish extends beautifully. This vintage shows excellent restraint. Will develop additional complexity over 8-10 years. Serious wine from reliable producer.
🍷 You want Napa power with Bordeaux-like mineral structure and savory herbs.
Pairs with: Grilled ribeye with herb butter, Braised short ribs, Aged hard cheeses, Dark chocolate tart
